Jon earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law, where he served as a Senior Editor of the Southern California Law Review.

He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, graduating Summa Cum Laude with Dean’s Honors. He began his legal career at DLA Piper (US), where he worked in the areas of Media, Sports & Entertainment and Complex Litigation. He later joined K&L Gates LLP, focusing on Construction, Trade Secrets, Real Estate, and Complex Litigation.

These roles provided experience at two top-ranked firms, with DLA Piper and K&L Gates ranked AmLaw 3 and AmLaw 29, respectively.

His published work includes “Easy Come Easy Go: A Guide To California Cap-And-Trade Spending,” which appeared in Southern California Law Review, Vol. 95, No. 1.
